Training

The past few weeks have been very fun for me. I am really starting to build a relationship between the people that I work with. One of the trainers there, Brian Cornowski, is a sophomore at John Carroll and I will be playing football with him next year. Being able to work with him has been very fun. I have started to gain good relationships with a lot of the volleyball teams that I have been training and they all get very excited to train with me, probably because I am a little bit more lenient and chill than some of the older trainers. I feel more accepted in the family there. A couple of the trainers invited me to "grab dinner" with them after one of our sessions which was very nice. Seeing all of the little kids improve and get better has also been very rewarding. One of them finally did an unassisted pull up today and she was so excited. Overall I am having a great time on my project and it has helped me tremendously with my own physical fitness, my leadership, and public speaking during large group sessions. I feel that skills like those are going to help me no mater what field I enter as a career path.

  1. Wow Josh, that's fantastic! I feel that this project is allowing you to express yourself in the area that you care about most, fitness. And wo, the fact that they asked you to "grab dinner" is mind bottling, I mean I've been asked to "go get some lunch" but no dinner, dinner means its real. Your gaining the respect from the people your training which is valuable because personally i admire trainers that know me, ya know? I enjoy getting into some good convo, while pumping some iron. It seems like your starting to become part of the community here and that's just AWESOME. #KeepBuildingThoseRelationships
