Day 6: Broadcasting
Day 6
I had a lot of fun today. I worked with Chris Thomas the Director of Creative services in the broadcasting center at Canal Park. I got to see where the team broadcasts their game and how the crew members operate the scoreboards and cameras throughout the stadium. I enjoyed this day a lot because Chris allowed me to get involved; I made a voice over for the RubberDucks Team Shop that will be playing during future games in the stadium(I'm pretty much famous). And he also allowed me to play around with the different cameras and technology so I could experience what it'd be like to film a real game. The broadcasting team has a really hard job because they are in charge of what the fans see. The other departments within the organization go to them to broadcast their branch on T.V and on the big screen so their department is responsible for promoting these with different edit techniques and effects. Chris has pretty much mastered a more advance version of iMovie and showed me how he uses Photoshop and video clips for his presentation on the big screen. The broadcasting role in sports marketing I believe is highly important because this is the department where the fans actually see and hear the promotions; which amps ups the pressure of making sure everything is perfect. This has probably been one of my favorite day's so far on project because I got to learn a lot about different technology and also realize the importance broadcasting plays on fans experience.

Wow That's so cool Warren. Coming from a seasoned veteran of iMovie, I would love to see what Chris gets to use
